Moddex is excited to announce the launch of Moddex Express, a dedicated production lane designed for supply only projects that have clear requirements and specifications, are ready for installation, and don’t require concept drawings or design intents for sign off, or custom fabrication.
The service is optional and is available for an “express fee”, for projects that meet the eligibility criteria.
The initiative responds to increased demand from contractors and builders delivering projects with confirmed site measurements, specifications and straightforward installation requirements.
Simplified workflow separate from standard production
Moddex Express operates as a separate operational arm that has been engineered to efficiently process projects that meet a defined criterion with a turnaround time as fast as 48 hours.
The introduction of this lane has expanded operational capability by accommodating differing project requirements while maintaining full continuity and output within standard production. The Express fee covers the handling, scheduling and production time allocated to this dedicated workflow.
A response to changing customer needs and industry demands
Over the past 18 months, Moddex has seen a rise in supply only project requests across Australia and New Zealand of jobs that were needed at an express pace.
These projects typically involve confirmed site measurements, standardised configurations and installation completed by the contractor, and or custom component manufacturing.
“We track market feedback closely and saw a clear shift in the types of projects being requested; more fast turnaround jobs where clients already had the ability to do their own installs,” Moddex Chief Operating Officer Reuben Jensen said.
“These teams just needed rapid access to our standardised systems, especially when project scopes changed late or deadlines tightened. Moddex Express is our answer to that need. It gives customers speed and simplicity, while keeping our core production lines stable.”
Supporting project certainty in a wider range of work
Moddex Express provides customers with additional flexibility in how they engage with Moddex.
Projects requiring design support, custom fabrication or specialised engineering will continue through the existing Moddex production route, while fully specified projects may be directed into the new Express lane if requested by the client.
“We expect the volume of supply only work to continue increasing as more contractors streamline their own internal processes,” Mr Jensen added.
“Moddex Express positions us to meet that shift with scalable capacity across Australia and New Zealand while maintaining the reliability of our standard production line.”
