As 2024 ends, we’ve been taking a moment to reflect on the exciting industry events Moddex had the privilege of attending in 2024. From trade shows to industry conventions, these events gave us a chance to connect with peers, showcase our latest innovations, and learn from the brightest minds in the field. It’s a part of who we are and aligns with our core values of creating better pathways in business and in life. Moddex had the opportunity to attend both Archify Live and Arc Agency events, where we connected with industry professionals, shared insights, and showcased our innovative modular handrail and balustrade solutions.
These events have become vital for Moddex as they allow us to engage with like-minded individuals and organisations committed to pushing the boundaries of design and construction. Our collaboration goes beyond our events through our partnership with Archify who we worked with to offer our Continuing Professional Development (CPD Sessions.) These sessions reflect our commitments to education and innovation, helping professionals stay informed with the latest compliance and regulation changes. By working with these partners, we are not just participating in events, we’re fostering long-term growth within the industry.
In May, Moddex exhibited at the Future of Construction Summit, which brought together leading experts from the Construction, Infrastructure, and Sustainability sectors. The program was developed in collaboration with contractors, technology leaders, suppliers, and industry leaders to reflect on the significant challenges and opportunities reshaping the industry. Day one began with a government address from Leah Kelly, Deputy Director-General of QLD Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government, and Planning, followed by an update on the Cross River Rail Project – One of QLDs largest infrastructure undertakings, and a project we are fortunate to be a part of. The event also featured the Australian Construction Industry Forum (ACIF) Forecast Briefing, which offered valuable insights into upcoming and ongoing projects across Australia and their impacts throughout the industry.
We also attended Ozwater ’24, a 3-day exhibition that brought together experts from around the world to address the urgent role of water in the climate crisis. The theme was “Accelerating Action” and the event focussed on exploring actionable strategies for creating a sustainable water future. The program featured an impressive lineup of international and local keynote speakers, along with case studies, workshops, and panel discussions. Ozwater ’24 provided a platform for the community to unite and take meaningful steps towards positive change.
As we look ahead to 2025, Moddex is excited to continue building on the connections and insights gained from this year’s events. We are ready to meet new challenges, share our expertise, and work alongside our partners to drive positive change in the years to come.
We remain committed to innovation, education, and collaboration as we strive to make meaningful connections in both business and life.
