Moddex has officially broken ground on our new state-of-the-art headquarters in Maryborough Queensland, marking a significant milestone for our locally founded company.
The development, located on an empty parcel of land in Maryborough West’s industrial hub, will consolidate our production, design, shared services, and sales teams into a purpose-built facility.
“We’re excited to be expanding our presence in Maryborough,” Moddex COO Reuben Jensen says.
“This isn’t just about constructing a new building; it’s a strategic investment in our people, our capability, and our future”.
“We are committed to building the capability and capacity to deliver on our expanding project portfolio, with our goal to improve safety and accessibility in a range of industries and public spaces across Australia.”
The project represents a substantial investment in the region and reinforces our commitment to our local roots – having built the business in Maryborough starting in a 40-foot blue shipping container.
It also marks a significant step in the company’s growth trajectory, especially as Moddex prepares to celebrate its 15th year of operation in 2025.
“This project is a direct result of the unwavering dedication of our team and a testament to how far we’ve come from our beginnings as a start-up in that shipping container,” CEO Alvin Rowland says.
“We’re incredibly proud to be reinvesting in Maryborough and look forward to the positive impact this will have on our clients and the projects we work on.”
The groundwork being laid will pave the way for the foundation of the facility’s extensive structures that will house Moddex’s next major undertaking – details of which will be released later this year.
Stay tuned for further updates as Moddex QLD’s new home takes shape, marking a new chapter in the company’s journey of growth and innovation.
