Project Background
BADGE Constructions selected Moddex Tuffstop Trolley Bays as part of the redevelopment of Brickworks Marketplace. Located in Adelaide and developed by Woolworths Limited, new trolley bays were required to meet the shopping centre’s high traffic demands.
“Moddex manufactured trolley bays to meet Woolworths’ standard criteria. Following manufacturing of the bays, a small crew then installed the bays on site while fitting in with the builder’s schedule,” said Area Sales Manager at Moddex Reuben Jensen.

Ezibilt EB20
Tuffstop Safety Bollards
Why was Moddex product selected?
Manufactured from hot-dip galvanised steel for enhanced corrosion protection, Moddex Ezibilt Trolley Bays and Tuffstop Safety Bollards are independently load tested to Australian Standard AS 1170.
With a range of proprietary designs available off-the-shelf for immediate installation, Moddex Tuffstop Trolley Bays provide significant benefits over the traditionally-welded alternatives usually seen at shopping centres,
“Because no welding is required, the systems can be assembled quickly and simply, eliminating fabrication costs, hot works permits and site shut-downs. There is also a reduced safety risk for both the installer and to the public as the bays can be easily removed, repaired, modified or extended,” Reuben added.
