Project Background
Probuild successfully secured the $300 million construction contract to redevelop the QIC-owned Grand Central Shopping Centre in Toowoomba, Queensland.
The redevelopment of Grand Central Shopping Centre involved the existing centre linked to the former Gardentown Shopping Centre via a two-level retail galleria, new discount department stores, new supermarkets and approximately 160 specialty retailers.
Stage two of the development was revealed in March 2017 with more than 100 specialty retailers to open during the year. There were many new features and amenities throughout the Centre including additional convenient car parking.
Stoddart selected Moddex Tuffstop Trolley Bays as part of the redevelopment of Grand Central Shopping Centre.
