Ensuring compliance and safety for the sewage treatment facility, the Fraser Coast Regional Council aims to service existing properties currently connected to the wastewater treatment system.
The system services the proposed AHC aged care facility with further capacity of an additional 114 connections to supply any future expansion of the commercial area of Howard.
The treatment system provides sustainable development, job creation, and contributes greatly to the economic growth of the township of Howard. Allowing for the provision of additional capacity for future commercial connections is vital to the town’s infrastructure plans.
