Project Background
Mahora School is located in Hastings, NZ and caters for students in Years 1 to 6. A major upgrade of classrooms and investment in resources has been implemented to develop innovative 21st century learning environments.
Moddex worked with Interlink Modular on the handrails on this project to improve accessibility and safety for the students.

Why was Moddex product selected?
Moddex’s modular systems meant the handrails were able to be sent to site pre-configured and ready for immediate install, meaning tight time-frames could be met for compliance and council sign off.
No welding or cutting was needed during install, which eliminated hot works permits, toxic fumes and safety hazards for installers, teachers and students.
Moddex has done several jobs with this client, and they have standardised Moddex systems on all their buildings going forward.
