Project Overview
The Wangaratta Inland Rail project included upgrades to the station and the Green Street Bridge, delivering safer, more accessible connections for the community. Key improvements featured a new pedestrian underpass with lifts, ramps, and stairs, significantly enhancing platform access while respecting the site’s heritage.
Challenges
The client initially requested a costly three coat paint system for the handrails, so that they would be illuminated at night.
