Officially opened in August 2018, Moona Moona Creek Pedestrian Bridge is a brand new state-of-the-art piece of infrastructure that has transformed communities of the Shoalhaven region on the South Coast of New South Wales.
Contracted by Kenpass Civil Contractors on behalf of the Shoalhaven City Council, Moddex installed Bikesafe® Bikeway Barriers to the entirety of the new shared pedestrian bridge.
Suitable for pedestrians on foot and on bicycles, the shared bridge serves as a safe crossing and aesthetically spectacular connection between the communities of Huskisson from Vincentia in the Shoalhaven region of NSW.
As a part of the ‘Round the Bay Walking Track’, the bridge is a valuable addition to for the natural platform and experience of the trail. With stunning views over the pristine estuary leading to Moona Moona Beach. The new bridge supports the preservation of the natural environment whilst also encouraging the flow of tourism to the area.
The Bikesafe® Bikeway Barriers were finished in a satin black powder coat from the Dulux range and completed with a smooth continuous, stainless-steel top-rails, preventing injury for both pedestrians and cyclists.
