Project Background

The Federation Trail is one of the main off-road shared cycling and walking paths in Melbourne’s west, running between Werribee South and Brooklyn. In October 2013, it was announced that construction would start on a $5.3 million bike bridge across the Newport-Albion freight line, extending the path to Yarraville.

North-Vic Constructions were appointed for the design and construction of the Federation Trial Bicycle and Pedestrian Bridget, supplying all precast components.
