Project Overview
The Nattai River Bridge replacement in Mittagong dlivered by Wingecarribee Shire Council involved constructing a new bridge while preserving the original heritage listed timber bridge. Following a referral from InQuick, civil contractor AllBase Infrastructure Solutions Pty Ltd engaged Moddex to supply and install barrier systems along the new bridge and shared pedestrian pathway.
Moddex Solution
Moddex supplied and installed AS 5100 compliant Bridgerail bridge barrier with an offset cycle rail (BR40 configuration) and AS/NZS 1170 C3 compliant pedestrian Bikesafe balustrade for shared pathways and ramps (BS40 configuration). Both solutions were manufactured in HDG steel with black powder coated finishes.
