Moddex were pleased to be appointed by Southbase Construction to design and build a balustrade solution for 2 of the accessible stairs utilizing our CB40 system.
Why was Moddex product selected?
The Moddex product was selected as a smart and functional value engineer solution. Moddex stands apart from the crowd with our wide range of pre-engineered, modular handrail and balustrade systems, with many years research, development, design, and engineering behind every pre-designed configuration.
Every system has undergone rigorous testing to meet the New Zealand Compliance Standards which means we are able to provide PS1 documentation for our systems.
Our engineer was able to conduct a detailed evaluation of the balustrade design and produce a site specific PS1 to ensure a seamless architect and council sign-off.
Our client and the architect went with a powder coated finish as an addition to the hardy galvanized steel to give a more refined and sharp aesthetic appearance.
