Project Background
The Epiq Lennox Head site was acquired by Ballina-based developer Clarence Property with the approval of NSW Department of Planning and Infrastructure Concept Plan and Project Plan.
The site includes subdivision for single dwellings, duplexes, a neighbourhood centre – including; commercial & retail space, community centre & retirement village, as well as a sporting complex with AFL ground, rugby/rugby league fields, soccer fields, and two synthetic cricket pitches.
The development includes an extension to Hutley Drive as well as a pedestrian bridge across to the sports fields.

Why was Moddex product selected?
Moddex proprietary systems were utilised on the edge of the pedestrian bridge to increase safety and protect cyclists and pedestrians from veering off the bridge.
Constructed from hot dip galvanised steel, the unique modular design of Conectabal commercial balustrade provides maximum strength, cost efficiency and longevity.
Moddex supplied and arranged the installation of the balustrade offering a complete, compliant and RMS approved design.
