Project Background
Bloomer Constructions has been working with the Moddex range of balustrades, handrails and guardrails for over 12 months. Bloomer was awarded the contract to construct the Hatch designed Gateway Village, a new mining accommodation camp in South Hedland, 1,600 kilometres north of Perth.
The workforce accommodation facility houses over 1,200 workers. Gateway Village is underpinned by a major resource company operating in the Pilbara and includes a mix of two-storey construction accommodation and high-standard one and two storey lodgings for operations personnel.
Products/configurations used on project
Conectabal balustrades and Assistrail handrails were used for fifty stairways and thirty ramps within the Village.
