These cyclist footrests are a great solution for cyclists, acting as a rest rail at a signalised intersection. Not only do these footrest increase safety for cyclists, but make waiting for the traffic light to change pleasanter by leaning on a footrest.
Moddex worked with the Hamilton City Council and WSP in New Zealand to design this bespoke product to roll out around Hamilton City. Depending on the length, these footrests allow for 1-3 cyclists. The footrest is coated with a non-slip surface to ensure safety for cyclists.
