Project Background
The refurbishment of the Laidley Multipurpose Sporting Centre is now complete. The $2.5 million project was jointly funded by the Australian Government and Lockyer Valley Regional Council
Elements of the old grandstand have been incorporated in to the new project in recognition of the historical value of the old structure to the Laidley community.
Stage One of the project included a new 225-seat grandstand, a 600 square metre sports clubhouse, kitchen and canteen facilities, storage rooms all built above flood height and closer to the main sporting field.
