Project Background:
At Moddex, we love sharing our portfolio to showcase our modular systems on large scale infrastructure projects.
Moddex was contracted by Brolton Group in alliance between Sydney Water, John Holland, UGL Engineering and GHD, to undertake the installation of our modular systems as a part of the major upgrades of the Malabar Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP).
Starting in 2014 and finishing Mid-2020, the upgrade was successful in securing greater capability and reliability of the Wastewater Treatment Plant, resulting in higher-quality bio-solid waste.
The result of the upgrades has led to a reduction in ongoing operating costs and improved workplace health and safety conditions, whilst securing regulatory compliance with environmental protection licence requirements well into the future.
Built Tough and Under Control
Fully compliant under the provisions of AS 1657.2018 and NZS 1657.1992, Moddex’s Tuffrail® Industrial Handrails and Conectabal® Commercial Balustrades were the products of choice for upgrades of the Malabar WWTP.
