Project Background
The Mansfield State High School incorporates conventional and flexible teaching spaces in order to achieve the best educational outcomes for every student. The School project was complex involving a number of ramps attaching to the original buildings and infrastructure to enable compliant disability access. We worked closely with the builder to ensure the suggested product would comply with the requirements of AS1428. Moddex undertook to complete the design of the project, manufacturing the handrails and balustrades after design approval was granted. The builder chose to complete the installation themselves and did so very successfully with support from our projects team when required.

Why was Moddex product selected?
The builder was familiar with Moddex product from previous experience on other school projects and chose to use our products due to the modular flexibility and ease of installation. By installing the product themselves, Batir Constructions were able to time the install exactly when it suited them on the project rather than rely on other specialists’ trades and timing.
