Project Background:
The Tauranga Crossing is located on the Western Side of Tauranga and is the Bay of Plenty’s newest regional shopping centre. The $150 million shopping development includes a power centre, a large format retail centre, an enclosed mall, and over 25 eateries.
Moddex worked with Hawkins and Heb Construction on this project taking care of the handrail and balustrades for the internal egress stairs. P
Why was Moddex product selected?
Moddex was selected by the main contractors on this project as we were able to provide an end to end solution for the handrail and balustrading. This covered compliance documentation, producer statements, site measures, CAD design, freight to site and install. One of the key benefits of the Moddex systems for the client was speed on site with no on-site welding or cutting required (no hot works permits necessary) & product being delivered to site pre-configured and installed within 10 working days which bought serious time saving efficiencies.
