Project Overview
The Kempsey Regional Saleyards have undergone significant infrastructure upgrades, ensuring it remains a competitive, modern hub for livestock trading across the Mid North Coast. Moddex was engaged by Van Mal Group Construction to design and supply compliant handrail and balustrade systems. Our modular, pre-engineered solutions were selected for their quality, ease of installation, and ability to be self-installed by the client.
The Challenge
Had they engaged a fabricator to custom build the handrails, Van Mal Group would have had to carry out the install themselves depending on how the system was fabricated. This would have meant additional time spent on installation and increased potential risks associated with onsite welding, cutting, and grinding.
Moddex Solution
Instead, with Moddex, everything arrived on site ready to go. Our systems are supplied with install guides and are 100% no-weld, eliminating the need for onsite cutting, grinding or hot works. Van Mal Group Construction experienced the time and efficiency benefits of Moddex systems firsthand. Our pre-engineered handrails are proven to be at least 50% faster to install compared to traditional barrier systems, allowing the Van Mal team to stay in control of their schedule and self-perform the install easily, without the need of specialist subcontractors.
