Project Background
Since 1892 St Edmund’s College has served the families of Ipswich and district. The College currently enrols nine hundred and fifty boys from Years 8 – 12. The College is proudly part of Ipswich’s heritage with its main building one of Ipswich’s icons and its past students strongly represented through Ipswich society.’
In mid-2014, St Edmunds improved their facilities with the Construction of a new 3 storey specialist classroom block. The ground floor provides under croft with amenities & storage areas. Level 1 provides 3 specialist classrooms for Information Technology, Hospitality, Food Technology and associated storage rooms. Level 2 provides 3 specialist classrooms for Art, Business and Language, 1 GLA and art storage room.
Moddex was able to work with the builder to supply modular handrail and balustrade for a number of different applications around the school to ensure safety for students.
