Project Background
Based in America, Costco is a relatively new supermarket chain in Australia, and this store was the 6th one they have set up to date. ADCO was awarded the project and Moddex worked closely with our preferred installer to deliver the requirements of the project.
Products/configurations used on project
Conectabal – CB10, on retaining walls and edge protection
Ezibilt Trolley Bays – Custom design in car parks
Tuffrail – TR20, around plant and equipment (back of house)
Why was Moddex product selected?
Moddex was put forward as a common sense alternative to traditional fabricated options and was approved for use by Costco representatives after an inspection of product samples on site.
The modular flexibility of the system gave ADCO the ability to efficiently install the barriers on newly erected retaining walls and structures. This removed the need for temporary edge protection and the associated costs and helped in the completion of the project.
