Project Background
The $7 million project includes the delivery of a service station, café’, restaurant, gymnasium and additional outlets. This project forms part of the Marsden Park Commercial precinct along Richmond Road.
Working in collaboration with Quasar Constructions, Moddex designed and supplied handrail and balustrade solutions for this new industrial development.
Products/configurations used on project
- Disability Handrail Assistrail AR150
- Commercial Balustrade Conectabal CB10 & CB40
Why was Moddex product selected?
Moddex was selected as the logical option for this project given the cost savings that could be achieved through speed of installation.
Moddex proprietary systems offer solutions for any level, rake, ramp or stair applications and meet BCA, DDA and Australian Standards. While the Moddex Assistrail AR150 disability handrail configuration achieved AS1428 compliance on the stairs – Conectabal CB10 and CB40 commercial balustrade configurations were used across retaining walls with fall heights above 1m.
Through selecting Moddex, Quasar Constructions were able to limit custom fabrication costs and benefit from the faster lead times. Arriving on-site in flat pack form, our systems were quick to install – requiring no specialist trades and enabling construction to continue uninterrupted.
